It’s been soooo long since I’ve written a blog! Please forgive me!
I’ve been working hard to give you the best Black erotica ever, so let me update you on what’s been going on while I’ve been gone:
First: Check out the website, StephanieRoseHeat.com, for two new stories. They’re a couple of hot and sexy tales (or tails!) that I worked on kinda quick:
Blackout is a story about an African-American woman and a Latin woman that connect during a power outage. It’s a quick erotic story that just may get your motors running!
CuteGirls4Girls.com is about a fictional website that allows Brooke, a sexy African-American woman, to have her first girl-on-girl encounter. As a sexy twist, I wrote her lover to be a rich, successful and beautiful Black female entrepreneur who lives life to the fullest. I’m hoping that they will both be an inspiration to all of us who want the best out of life!
Also, here are updates on your favorite series:
Pledges is rolling along with Chapter 6 coming shortly. Now I know it’s taking a long time to get the chapters out, but here’s the reason: That series really takes a long time to put together. See, because Pledges is about an entire sorority (made up of 22 young women (and you’ll eventually meet each and every one!)), there are multiple characters I have to worry about. And because I want to give you the best erotica, I always need to make sure that all of the storylines line up correctly.
Also, I’m always trying to set up surprises for you to enjoy, so that means I need to write 2-3 chapters ahead. Right now, I’m writing Chapter 8. That way, I can give you “clues” to Chapter 8 in Chapters 6 and 7. I think it makes for a better story to “set things up,” rather than just spring things on you out of the blue. So please be patient with me and I’ll definitely make it worth your while!
The Makeup Artist is coming along too. Chapter 8, featuring Kimora Lee Simmons, is almost done and should be coming out in a matter of days. Because I want to expand my definition of what Black beauty is, I’m going to take a chance and introduce a sexy Black female character who’s Ethiopian and Russian (and I’m having her speak in some of the Russian language too!) There will also be a Somalian female character named Malia (think Iman.)
This unique mix of ethnicities is a new trend that I’m going to follow. I’ve typically focused on African-American women, but now I want to showcase the unique African beauty that exists all over the globe! So in addition to sexy African-American women, look to see more Black (and other multicultural) characters from different countries getting it on throughout the series!
I’m also writing a lesbian erotic crime novel that is set in Miami, Florida. It’s going to have some hot and sexy women of color, but I’m also going to use the story as a vehicle to fight homophobia, racism and sexism. So far it’s moving along pretty well, and I’ll post samples in the coming months. When I get close to having it (self-)published, I’ll be sure to let you know when you can go out and buy a copy (and copies for your friends!)
I also have one other huge project: I really want to turn these short stories into a full film (and DVD) collection! I love going to the movies and I love renting movies, but I always feel bad because there’s not a lot of lesbian movies that feature love and romance between women of color.
So please let me know if you’d like to see some of these short stories as either feature films or as DVD movies that you can either rent or purchase. And be sure to let me know which stories are your favorites!

Why do I write all of these stories anyway?
It’s ’cause I LOVE women! I love sexy, beautiful, gorgeous, smart, savvy, sweet and wonderful women! When I write, it’s a way for me to show just how beautiful women are, especially women of color!
Writing these erotic stories is also a way I can show how sexy and beautiful girl-on-girl love is. I have readers that are lesbian, bisexual and even bicurious, so no matter who you are, you’re welcome in my world (and these stories are my way of showing that!)
